Michael Mietlicki is an attorney in both New York and New Jersey. His work focuses on complex commercial litigation and providing keen business legal counsel. Mr. Mietlicki represents individuals and companies involved in a wide range of business disputes, including corporate governance, investor, shareholder, and partnership conflicts; commercial landlord-tenant matters; breach of contract suits; intellectual property, trade secret, and defamation cases; commercial torts; and general business litigation. He represents clients in both state and federal courts as well as in alternative dispute resolution (ADR) settings. Mr. Mietlicki also advises businesses on a variety of legal matters, including start-up and governance, regulation and litigation risk related to advertising, and environmental marketing claims. His clients have included artists, filmmakers, social media influencers, activists, nonprofits, and both startups and well-established national and international businesses in a wide range of industries and business sectors. Mr. Mietlicki graduated from New York University School of Law, where he was an articles editor of the NYU Journal of Intellectual Property and Entertainment Law. He also received a B.A. with a concentration in music from Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, NY.
