Philip H. Ziegler

Philip H. Ziegler has over 25 years of experience in defending matters involving large retail establishments, including shopping malls, restaurants, and large and small independent stores throughout New York and New Jersey. He has defended mall owners in third party claims as well as landlord/tenant matters. Mr. Ziegler also has significant experience in defending commercial building owners, general contractors, and subcontractors in construction accident cases. He has obtained defense verdicts for his clients in jurisdictions that include Kings and Bronx Counties. He has also authored numerous articles published in the NY Law Journal and has appeared as a guest lecturer for the NYSBA where he has been a member for several years.

Mr. Ziegler has volunteered much of his time to various pro bono causes. He was recognized by The Association of Trial Lawyers of America for his dedication and outstanding service following the events of the 9/11 tragedy as he assisted families who were victims obtain necessary compensation from the Victim Compensation Fund. He is also a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) in Passaic County advocating for children who have been displaced from their homes due to neglect, abuse, or trauma.
